How does it work?
Physicians login securely to RxRite or RxRite Wireless™ with a user name and password, to write prescriptions or approve renewal requests.

RxRite gives the physician the ability to: select the patient; write a prescription with the assistance of a drug database; view prescription history; identify potentially dangerous drug-to-drug and drug-to-patient interactions; view patient formulary; receive automated confirmation of formulary compliance/non-compliance and alternative therapies; and electronically send the prescription to the patient's pharmacy of choice along with the patient's identification and any insurance coverage information.

The pharmacy receives notification of a new prescription or renewal authorization online (for connected pharmacies) or via fax. A pharmacy is able to confirm exactly where the prescription came from because it is tied directly to the physician profile through a transaction number.
